Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka's birthplace her birthplace is Minsk which is located in Belarus. Her father Sergey (d. 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka is a Belarusian born on May 5, 1998. She has 12 WTA titles in her career, including that of the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles specialist, she also has won the US Open of 2019 as well as in the Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. Also, she achieved her Sunshine Double in 2019, by winning the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. The women's doubles had only four couples win this title. There were only four couples who achieved this feat in women's doubles. But in doubles, she climbed to number one after her victory at Melbourne in February the following year. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) was her coach for a portion of the season in 2019 and from 2018 to the end. There was a brief collaboration with Dieter Kindlmann from August to September of 2020. Since the end of 2020 she has been coached by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov. Her top idols are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
